i love my Nana’s hands. the wrinkles on each finger. the skin tone of a hardworking Sicilian. i talk to her once a week now. i know once i call it will be over 30 minutes of gossip, talks about a photo album she is creating, opinions of my dad’s after stroke care and how her flowers are doing.
i will always feel safe in these hands
